Habitat for Humanity at Tollgate Crossing
Monday, March 5, 2012 at 8:02PM The Habitat for Humanity homes at Tollgate Crossing are unique in the organization's history. These 54 homes are integrated and indistinguishable from neighboring simultaneously constructed market-rate homes.
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International founded in 1979. Homes are sold at no profit to Habitat and with a no-interest loan; families make a down payment and monthly mortgage payments and contribute “sweat-equity” hours to help build their own home, as well as the homes of other Habitat families.
B+Y donated design services with solutions that acknowledge construction efficiency and techniques that are achievable by Habitat’s volunteers.
